Legal terms governing your use of MeddiChat’s AI receptionist, WhatsApp automation, and appointment engine.
LEGAL AGREEMENT
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the MeddiChat platform ("MeddiChat", "Platform", "Service", "we", "us", or "our"). By creating an account, purchasing credits, connecting a WhatsApp API, configuring an AI receptionist, or otherwise using MeddiChat, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.
MeddiChat (meddichat.com) is a technology platform providing SaaS tools for healthcare organizations to manage AI-powered patient communication, WhatsApp messaging, doctor availability, appointment scheduling, and automated clinical workflows. MeddiChat is a technology platform and does not itself provide medical diagnosis, treatment, or clinical medical advice.
You must provide accurate account information, maintain password confidentiality, and refrain from sharing account credentials without authorization. You are responsible for all activity performed through your account.
If you use MeddiChat on behalf of a clinic, hospital, doctor, or healthcare business, you confirm authority to bind that organization. The organization is solely responsible for doctor schedule accuracy, consultation fees, system prompts, patient messages, obtaining consent, and compliance with healthcare laws.
MeddiChat provides AI-powered receptionist functionality for doctor discovery, slot availability, and appointment scheduling. AI responses are administrative and must NOT be relied upon as a substitute for professional medical diagnosis, clinical judgment, prescription decisions, or emergency care.
Organizations configuring custom prompts, clinic guidelines, or AI tones must not configure the AI system to provide fraudulent information, impersonate medical professionals, provide unsafe clinical guidance, or circumvent applicable laws.
MeddiChat integrates with Meta WhatsApp Cloud API, AI model providers, payment gateways, and cloud infrastructure. Your use is also subject to third-party terms. MeddiChat does not guarantee uninterrupted third-party availability.
You confirm authorization to send messages through connected WhatsApp Business numbers, comply with WhatsApp policies, and refrain from spam or unauthorized bulk messaging.
Appointment availability depends on information provided by the clinic. An appointment is considered confirmed only when successfully confirmed by the MeddiChat database system.
Certain platform features consume credits for AI processing and WhatsApp messaging. Credits are non-transferable, non-refundable once consumed, and are not financial deposits.
You must not use MeddiChat to send spam, commit fraud, misrepresent medical information, upload malware, attempt unauthorized API access, or violate DPDP privacy laws. Accounts involved in prohibited use will be suspended immediately.
We implement technical safeguards (TLS 1.3 encryption, RBAC, encrypted DB storage) to protect information. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for detailed data processing terms.
The MeddiChat platform, software, branding, AI models, and documentation are owned by or licensed to MeddiChat and protected by IP laws. You receive a limited, non-exclusive right to use the Service during your subscription.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MeddiChat will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from AI-generated information, WhatsApp outages, or incorrect clinic data.
